Shoreline Design, LLC has the capability to build all types of stone structures that are designed to dissipate wave energy and reduce shoreline erosion. The Selsey Road Coastal Resiliency & Living Shoreline Project was funded by Maryland Department of Natural Resources and Worcester County and was designed by Coastline PC. The work included construction of segmented stone sills and breakwaters along 1,200 LF of shoreline and was designed to reduce storm-related damage and flooding problems affecting residents along the county-maintained roadway in West Ocean City, MD. Over 12,000 tons of clean sand was placed along the shoreline and planted with wetland grasses.
